About us:

Mossman Hospital consists of an ED, Acute Ward (funded 13 beds), Aged Care (8 residents), Medical Imaging (USS & Xray only, business hours and on call after hours), Community Health and satellite Dialysis, whilst also offering outpatient services for Mental Health, ATODS, Maternity & Child Health.

We're committed to improving the health and wellbeing of people in Far North Queensland by providing high quality acute health care services.

About your role:
Direct patient care of all aspects of the Acute Ward from admission to discharge.
Knowledge of treatment protocols and pathways for patients admitted with a range of medical conditions in the rural setting.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships with team members, patients, families and other stakeholders, including participation in relevant networks to achieve work unit outcomes.
Competence managing sick and deteriorating patients in association with the multi-disciplinary team, the ANUM and NUM.
