About the role

We are seeking a casual veterinarian to provide oversight and support for translational and preclinical research programs. The role includes both day and night shifts and works within a multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities
Monitoring animal health, welfare and wellbeing.
Supporting animal handling, assessment and treatment where required.
Performing clinical observations and appropriate interventions, maintaining appropriate veterinary records.
Assisting with procedures and responding to veterinary issues that arise.
Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Ensuring compliance with ethics, SOPs, policies, procedures and legislative requirements.

About you
Previous experience working with large animals.
Current registration as a veterinary surgeon in Western Australia.




Solid commitment to animal welfare and compliance with regulations.
Positive clinical judgement and practical problem-solving skills.
Solid communication and teamwork skills.
Availability to work casual shifts – both day and night shifts.
