About the role

We are seeking an experienced barista to join our team on a full-time basis and take ownership of our current coffee window. We want someone who will treat the coffee window as their own part of the business, take pride in its day-to-day running, and contribute ideas that help it grow.

Key responsibilities
Preparing high-quality espresso coffee and specialty beverages to a consistent standard
Providing prompt, professional and friendly customer service
Maintaining and cleaning coffee equipment, including daily calibration of the grinder
Managing stock levels, ordering and product rotation to minimise waste
Ensuring the work area meets food safety and hygiene requirements
Processing cash and EFTPOS transactions accurately
Contributing ideas for the menu, seasonal specials and promotions

About you
A minimum of 12 months' experience as a barista in a busy café or coffee environment
Strong coffee-making skills, including milk texturing and latte art
Excellent communication and customer service skills
A reliable, organised approach and the ability to work independently
Creative ideas and the initiative to put them into practice




Availability for early starts and some weekend shifts
A Food Safety Handler certificate, or a willingness to obtain one
Full Australian working rights
Weekend work required

The coffee window has a ready-made customer base from day one, and the successful applicant will play a key role in building it into a destination of its own.

Benefits
A permanent full-time position with a salary of $62,000 – $68,000 plus superannuation, commensurate with experience
