An established and busy hospitality venue in North East Tasmania is seeking an experienced Chef to join our kitchen team on a full-time basis.

We are looking for a reliable and motivated Chef who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in producing quality food consistently.

THE ROLE
Full-time — 38 hours per week
Salary negotiable depending on experience
Work in a busy restaurant and hospitality setting
Prepare and cook food to a consistently high standard
Maintain food quality, presentation and kitchen standards
Work efficiently during busy service periods
Assist with kitchen organisation, preparation and stock control
Maintain high standards of food safety and cleanliness
Work closely with the kitchen and front-of-house teams

ABOUT YOU Experience working in a busy restaurant is essential.

We are looking for someone who:
Has proven experience as a Chef in a busy restaurant or hospitality venue




Can confidently handle busy service periods
Has strong cooking and food preparation skills
Takes pride in quality and presentation
Is reliable, organised and able to work under pressure
Works well independently and as part of a team
Has a positive attitude and strong work ethic
Has good knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene

THE OPPORTUNITY This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Chef to join an established hospitality business in the North East Tasmania region.

The successful applicant will become an key part of the kitchen team, with the chance to contribute ideas and help maintain and develop the venue's food offering.

Pay: $60,000.00 – $78,000.00 per year
