SQL Database Administrator (DBA) - NV1 Clearance

We are seeking an experienced SQL Database Administrator (DBA) to support and maintain secure enterprise database environments.

This role will suit a hands-on DBA with strong Microsoft SQL Server experience who is comfortable working within complex ICT environments.

Key Responsibilities
Administer, maintain and support Microsoft SQL Server databases
Monitor database performance, availability and capacity
Undertake database backups, restores, patching and upgrades
Troubleshoot database incidents and performance issues
Support database security, access controls and compliance requirements
Assist with database migrations, deployments and setting improvements
Work closely with infrastructure, application and development teams

Skills & Experience




Strong experience as a SQL Server DBA
Experience with SQL Server administration, monitoring and performance tuning
Robust knowledge of backup, recovery and high-availability solutions
Experience troubleshooting complex database issues
Understanding of database security and access management
Experience working within enterprise or government ICT settings will be highly regarded

Mandatory Requirement
Current Australian Government NV1 Security Clearance
