About the role

This is a hands-on apprenticeship where you'll work alongside experienced tradesmen and develop skills across a variety of compelling projects. No two days are the same. If you are looking to commence your apprenticeship as a 1st year, or if you are already completing an apprenticeship and are looking for a change, all are encouraged to apply.

Key responsibilities
MIG and TIG welding
Aluminium, stainless and mild steel fabrication
Cutting, drilling, grinding and fitting
Reading drawings and measurements
General workshop skills

About you
Genuine interest in becoming a skilled boilermaker
Valuable attitude and willingness to learn
Reliable, punctual and keen to work
Valuable attention to detail
Ability to follow instructions and work safely
Some workshop, mechanical or fabrication experience is an advantage, but not essential
Manual drivers license

About us Smoke Fabrication is a growing, locally owned fabrication business based in Palmwoods. We specialise in custom aluminium, stainless and mild steel fabrication, including vehicle trays, canopies, architectural aluminium projects and structural fabrication.
