Warmoll Farming has an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified and experienced Accountant to join our team on a full time basis. Warmoll Farming is a family-owned and operated mixed cropping and cattle enterprise located at Breeza on the Liverpool Plains, NSW.

As our Accountant, you will play an key role within the Warmoll Farming team, working closely with our Directors and Administration Manager. You will also collaborate with the broader Jack’s Creek team based in Tamworth.

Key Responsibilities The role will include, but is not limited to:
Preparing financial reports, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements and management reports
Developing, managing and monitoring company budgets and financial forecasts
Managing accounting software and ERP systems
Monitoring and analysing costs associated with cropping, livestock feeding, fertiliser, machinery and maintenance
Aligning financial forecasts and cash flow requirements with planting, growing and harvesting schedules
Managing tax compliance and assisting with tax planning
Managing agricultural taxation requirements, deductions and asset depreciation
Tracking and reconciling financial transactions, including sales, purchases and payments
Maintaining general ledgers, accounts receivable and accounts payable




Analysing financial data and presenting information in clear, meaningful reports
Reviewing financial records and documentation to identify errors, discrepancies and areas requiring further investigation
Supporting the Directors with financial analysis and information to assist business decision-making

The successful applicant will have:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong computer skills and proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems
Excellent time management and organisational skills
Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
The ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a team
A self-motivated, proactive and positive approach
An understanding of agricultural operations and financial management would be highly regarded

Requirements:
Tertiary qualification in Accounting and/or Finance.
Experience or qualifications in Agribusiness or a related discipline will be highly regarded.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar accounting or finance role
Current driver’s licence
Willingness to undergo a criminal background check

Pay: $80,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
