Our client is a growing private credit fund seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to join their team on an initial 3-month contract.

This is a hands-on role with responsibility for overseeing the accounts payable function and offshore accounting team, while also playing an important role in the fund’s transition towards bringing fund accounting capabilities in-house.

Key responsibilities
Manage and oversee the day-to-day AP process, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
Manage and coordinate the offshore accounting team and review their outputs.
Assist with the fund accounting function, including reconciliations, journals, month-end processes and financial reporting.
Support the transition of fund accounting activities from external providers into the internal finance function.
Assist with process improvement, controls and documentation across the finance function.




Work closely with the broader investment and operations teams and external service providers.

About you
CA/CPA qualified or working towards qualification.
Robust financial accounting experience, ideally within funds management, private equity, private credit or financial services.
Experience managing or working closely with offshore accounting teams.
Solid understanding of AP, reconciliations and month-end accounting.
Fund accounting experience would be highly regarded.
Comfortable working in a hands-on environment and improving processes as the business evolves.
Available to commence at short notice for a 3-month contract.
