Commercial Construction Experience Essential

Our client is a highly respected, family-owned commercial builder with a strong pipeline of projects across South Australia, valued up to $35M. They are looking for an experienced Contract Administrator with proven commercial construction experience to join their team immediately.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who can manage contracts, subcontractors and commercial requirements independently, while adapting to changing project priorities.

The Role

You’ll provide end-to-endcontract administration across a range of commercial construction projects, including hospitality, commercial builds, refurbishments and shopping centre upgrades.

Key responsibilities include
End-to-end contract administration
Subcontractor procurement and management
Progress claims and payment schedules
Variations and extensions of time
Contracts and scopes of work
Cost reporting and project financial administration
Supporting Project Managers throughout the project lifecycle
Liaising with subcontractors, consultants and clients





About You

You must have previous Contract Administrator experience within commercial construction.

You’ll also bring
Solid knowledge of construction contracts and procurement
Experience managing subcontractors, variations and progress claims
Excellent organisation and attention to detail
Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
A proactive, adaptable and solutions-focused approach
A willingness to take ownership and get things done
