Huawei Australia is hiring a

Business Development Manager to develop recent business opportunities within the Mining, Oil & Gas and/or Transportation sectors. The role focuses on enterprise ICT solutions, including networking, data storage and digital infrastructure.

Job responsibilities:
Identify and develop recent business opportunities within the target industries.
Build strong relationships with key customers, decision-makers, partners and industry stakeholders.
Understand customer requirements and work with internal technical teams to develop relevant ICT solutions.
Manage the sales pipeline and drive opportunities from initial engagement through to contract closure.
Prepare and deliver customer presentations, proposals, tenders and account plans.
Coordinate with solution, commercial, delivery and partner teams throughout the sales cycle.
Monitor industry trends, major projects, competitor activities and customer investment priorities.
Maintain accurate sales forecasts and provide regular business updates.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, IT, Telecommunications or a related discipline.




At least 5 years of experience in business development, enterprise sales or key account management.
Proven ability to identify opportunities, build a qualified pipeline and manage complex enterprise sales cycles.
Experience working with technical, commercial, delivery and partner teams on complex bids and customer opportunities.
Strong communication, presentation, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
Self-motivated, results-driven and willing to travel as required.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in the Mining, Oil & Gas and/or Transportation sectors, with a strong understanding of the relevant customer landscape and business workplace.
Experience selling enterprise ICT solutions, particularly networking, data storage or digital infrastructure.
Experience developing business through channel partners, system integrators, distributors or technology alliances.
Understanding of Australian procurement, tendering, regulatory and project delivery environments.
