Trades Assistant Maintenance
(Mechanical/Electrical)

Our client is looking for an experienced Trades Assistant, at their North Rocks Industrial Laundry to join the maintenance team.
n
You will be required to provide
mechanical/electrical
maintenance support and ensure the laundry operational facilities and machinery function are to their maximum efficiency with minimal disruption in output. This includes:
n
Completing preventative maintenance services to all laundry equipment, including industrial washers, dryers, boilers, compressors, hydraulic and pneumatic systems;
n
Assisting in the configuration and installation of new machinery;
n
Maintaining our materials, products and services

Duties
n
Assisting in repair, service and reactive maintenance of our commercial laundry equipment
n
Assisting in fault finding and troubleshooting ensuring all faults are fixed and quickly resolved
n
Preventative maintenance of our commercial laundry equipment
n
Support and work with production team to minimise machine downtime
n
Work with maintenance team members to project management of new installations or business improvement projects
n
Mechanical/Electrical
Maintenance experience preferred.
n
Dedicated to maintaining and promoting safe work practices.
n
Willingness to acquire new skills, teachable attitude
n
Solid communicator with the ability to listen & take direction
n
Is self-motivated, takes pride in their work and prioritises the safety of themselves and others always.
