Peel Recruitment is currently seeking experienced Auto Electricians for upcoming FIFO shutdown work across WA mine sites.

Various WA mine sites
Upcoming mobilisation dates
Competitive hourly rates
Day and night shifts may be available

Duties
Electrical diagnostics, fault finding and repairs
Maintenance of heavy mobile plant and mining equipment
Repairs to wiring, lighting, starting and charging systems
Testing and replacing electrical components
Working on breakdowns and scheduled shutdown maintenance
Completing inspections and preventative maintenance
Reading and interpreting electrical schematics
Working safely within shutdown timeframes and site requirements

Requirements
Trade qualified Auto Electrician




Previous mining or FIFO shutdown experience highly regarded
Experience working on heavy mobile plant or mining equipment
Solid electrical diagnostic and fault-finding skills
Current Australian Driver’s Licence
White Card
Working at Heights and Confined Space tickets where required
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and Drug & Alcohol screen
Ability to provide relevant licences, tickets and site documentation
Reliable, safety-focused and available for shutdown mobilisation
