A busy, well‐established engineering workshop in
Lower Hutt
is looking for a
skilled CNC Operator who can also program
. This is a hands‐on role on modern CNC machinery, producing high‐quality components for a fast‐moving production environment.
About the Role n
n
CNC operation
– run CNC mills/routers safely and efficiently
n
CNC programming
– create, edit, and optimise programs (Fusion 360 / similar)
n
Quality checks
– measure parts, check tolerances, follow job sheets
n
Workshop support
– assist with production tasks and maintain a clean, secure workspace
n
What You Bring n
n
Strong experience as a
CNC Operator
, with the ability to




program confidently
n
Solid understanding of machining, tooling, feeds/speeds, and production workflows
n
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
n
Reliable, mechanically minded, and safety‐focused
n
Positive attitude and able to work well in a busy team environment
n
