Techforce are currently recruiting NPI Maintenance Electricians for permanent positions across Rio Tinto Iron Ore mine sites throughout Western Australia.

These are permanent positions from day one, meaning you will be employed directly by our client, who holds contracts across a large number of Rio Tinto mine sites throughout WA.

This is a outstanding prospect to secure a long-term position working across established Rio Tinto operations, with the potential to work across multiple sites depending on project and operational requirements.

8:6 Roster (8 days on, 6 days off)
$135,000.00 per annum + Super

Scope of works - NPI Electricians (None Plant Infrastructure)
Service and maintenance works
Testing, commissioning and fault finding
Performing safe isolations
Working with power, lighting and data cabling
Testing and commissioning on emergency exit lights
Reading and interpreting plans and wiring diagrams
Adhering to safety and compliance standards

Tickets and Experience Requirements -
Current A-Grade Electrical Licence (WA) - Essential
Valid White Card - Essential




LVR/ CPR - Essential
First aid - Essential
Working at heights - Essential
Living in WA - Essential
Experience with service and maintenance across domestic and commercial sites
Have the ability to undertake a medical
Have a minimum of 1 year experience out of your apprenticeship
Have the ability to undertake a National Police Check
Ability to work well in a team setting

Process - All successful candidates who meet the above criteria will be contacted to arrange an initial telephone interview with the client.

If both parties are happy to proceed following the initial call, a Microsoft Teams interview will then be arranged.

Once the interview has been successfully completed and client approval has been received, you will commence the mobilisation process. This will include completing all required Rio Tinto inductions, including both classroom and online training.

The typical mobilisation timeframe from initial approval through to receiving a flight date to site is approximately 2–4 weeks, depending on the completion of all required medicals, inductions, training and site requirements.
