Are you a qualified Electrician looking for genuine long-term stability? Our client is a long-standing, family-owned Australian food processing business supplying both domestic and international markets, and they're looking for an Industrial Maintenance Electrician to join their maintenance team on a full-time basis.
THE ROLE n
As part of the maintenance team, you'll keep the production facility running by maintaining and repairing electrical equipment across the plant. It's a mix of preventative maintenance and breakdown response, all aimed at keeping production protected and efficient.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES n
n
Perform scheduled and reactive electrical maintenance
n
Diagnose and repair electrical faults on machinery and systems
n
Respond to breakdowns and help minimise production downtime
n
Liaise with production staff and supervisors to resolve equipment issues
n




Assist with the installation and commissioning of new equipment
n
Maintain accurate maintenance and fault records
n
Follow electrical safety requirements and workplace procedures
n
ABOUT YOU n
n
Trade-qualified Electrician with a QLD electrical licence, or eligible to obtain one.
n
Minimum 2 years' experience as an electrician
n
Solid fault‐finding and problem‐solving skills
n
Valuable communication and attention to detail
n
Able to work independently, prioritise tasks and respond to breakdowns
n
Willing to learn PLCs, automation and industrial control systems
n
Food industry experience — desirable, not essential
n
