We’re looking for a Casual Research Recruiter to join our small team at Bright Point Research.

Must be living in Australia.

If you’re organised, quick to follow up, comfortable picking up the phone and positive at putting people at ease, we’d love to hear from you. A sense of humour helps too — research projects have a habit of keeping us on our toes!

What you’ll be doing

We recruit people to take part in market research. Your role will be to help find the right participants, ask the right screening questions and help them get from “That sounds interesting” to showing up ready for their session.

On a typical day, you might be:
Speaking with potential participants by phone, email and SMS
Screening and booking people into research sessions
Sending explicit, accurate confirmations and reminders
Following up when someone needs a gentle nudge
Keeping participant records and project trackers up to date
Helping the team with other project admin

There’s plenty of variety. One week you might be recruiting pet owners; the next, you could be speaking with small business owners or people with very particular shopping habits. You’ll be a good fit if you…
You're organised, fast and genuinely good with people.




Enjoy speaking with all sorts of people and can build rapport quickly
Communicate clearly and warmly, especially on the phone
Notice the details — names, dates, times and instructions all matter
Follow things through without needing constant reminders
Can manage several moving parts and keep your cool when plans change
Are comfortable working independently from home
Know when to have a go yourself and when to ask for help
Are confident with and have solid computer skills - using email, spreadsheets and video calls

Market research experience would be lovely, but it isn’t essential. If you have strong communication skills, good judgment and a willingness to learn, we can teach you the research side. This is casual work, so hours will vary with our projects. Some weeks are quieter; others are busy. We need someone with flexibility, including occasional early evening or weekend availability when a project requires it.
