Senior & Contractor Positions, Byron Bay Kate Willa is a growing bridal label based in Byron Bay, specialising in handcrafted silk gowns and beaded lace dresses.

It’s an exciting time for the business and we’re looking for experienced seamstresses and dressmakers to join our small team. We work from a beautiful, light-filled studio in Byron Bay alongside a outstanding team who care deeply about quality and craftsmanship.

We’re looking for people who are passionate about the craft, take pride in their work, and are excited to continue growing and developing their skills within a high-end bridal studio.

We are currently considering senior and contractor positions, with full-time or part-time hours depending on availability

Senior Seamstress / Dressmaker

We’re looking for someone with:
5+ years’ experience in bridal, couture or high-end garment construction
Solid industrial sewing machine skills
Excellent garment construction knowledge
Experience working with silk, lace,



beading and delicate fabrics
A very high standard of finishing and attention to detail
Confidence working independently and managing deadlines
Strong problem-solving skills

Contractors

We also welcome experienced freelance seamstresses and dressmakers. Contractors must be available to attend our Byron Bay studio weekly or fortnightly, as well as for consecutive training days when learning current styles.
