About the Role:
Prepare and cook nutritious meals and snacks for our children, following our set menu and catering to dietary requirements.
Maintain a safe, hygienic, and organised kitchen environment in line with food safety standards.
Cater to a variety of dietary, allergy, and cultural food needs with care and creativity.
Manage food ordering, stock rotation, and storage to minimise waste and maximise freshness.
This is a Part-time, Monday – Friday role, around 25 hours a week.
Requirements:
Recognised qualification in Cookery/Hospitality/Chef highly regarded
Current Food Handling Certificate
Current food Safety Supervisor Certificate
Current Working With Children Check
Knowledge of protected hygiene practices
Experience working as a cook in a childcare centre will be highly regarded
