About the role

Reporting to the General Manager, the Finance and Administration Officer will be responsible for the efficient management of the Club's day-to-day finance and administration functions. This is a diverse and hands-on role that will support the Club's financial operations while delivering exceptional service to members and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities
Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
Daily and weekly banking reconciliations
Payroll processing and administration
General ledger maintenance and account reconciliations
Assisting with monthly financial reporting and other management reports
Finalising and reconciling stocktakes across Club operations
Generating operational and financial reports as required
Maintaining accurate financial and administrative records
Supporting budgeting and audit processes
Providing high-quality membership administration and customer service
Managing member enquiries and account updates
Processing memberships, renewals, subscriptions and associated communications
Assisting with member engagement initiatives and Club events

About you
A minimum of 2 years' experience in a finance, administration, bookkeeping or similar role
Sound knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable,



banking and payroll processes
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team workplace
A proactive and solutions-focused approach to work
Experience working within a golf club, sporting club, hospitality venue or member-based organisation (desirable)
Experience using MiClub and MiMembership software systems (desirable)
Understanding of inventory control and stocktake processes (desirable)
