Experienced GP Practice Nurse – Part-Time / Casual
We are looking for an experienced and confident Practice Nurse to join our established GP practice in McKinnon.
We have part-time and casual prospects available, with regular shifts currently available on:
Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday – 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
We are looking for someone who is organised, reliable and comfortable working independently in a busy general practice environment.
Pay: $44–$48 per hour + superannuation, depending on experience and employment type.

Immunisations and vaccinations
Wound care and dressings
Health assessments
Chronic disease management
Supporting GP Management Plans and care plans
Assisting with minor procedures
Treatment room duties
Cold chain management
Infection prevention and control
General practice nursing and clinical support
About you To be suitable for this role, you will need:
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
Previous Australian general practice nursing experience – essential
Confidence working independently in a GP treatment room
Strong organisational and communication skills
Experience with immunisations, wound care, health assessments and chronic disease management
Good understanding of cold chain and infection control requirements
A reliable, skilled and team-focused approach
Experience with Best Practice is highly regarded. We are looking for someone who can become a reliable, long-term member of our clinical team and work closely with our doctors, nurses and reception staff.
Availability
Applicants should have solid availability for Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, 9:00 am–5:00 pm, particularly throughout October, November and December, including the Christmas/New Year period when rostered.

Expected hours: Approximately 8–24 hours per week, depending on availability and employment type.
Pay: $44.00 – $48.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 24.0 per week
