About the role

As Duty Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operation of the venue and ensuring our members and guests receive a consistently high standard of service. You will work closely with the General Manager and management team while providing leadership and support to staff across the venue.

Key responsibilities
Managing day-to-day venue operations
Leading, supporting and supervising staff during shifts
Ensuring excellent customer service across all areas
Managing busy restaurant, bar and gaming operations
Responding professionally to customer enquiries and complaints
Ensuring compliance with liquor, gaming, WHS and venue policies
Managing cash handling, opening and closing procedures
Supporting staff training and maintaining service standards
Assisting with rostering and operational requirements when required
Leading by example and maintaining a positive team culture

About you
Previous Duty Manager or hospitality management experience
Strong leadership and communication skills




Experience working in a busy hospitality environment
Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills
Current RSA
Current RSG
Knowledge of liquor and gaming compliance
Availability to work evenings, weekends and public holidays
The ability to remain calm and make sound decisions during busy periods
A hands-on attitude and willingness to support the team wherever required
