JIN GUK is a modern Korean Gomtang Bar that reinterprets traditional Korean cuisine in a contemporary dining setting.

At the heart of JIN GUK is Gomtang, a traditional Korean soup known for its rich, slow-cooked broth and comforting flavours. We aim to bring this traditional dish into a modern dining experience through an open kitchen, live cooking and a carefully curated menu.

Located in Macquarie Park, JIN GUK will offer guests an approachable yet elevated Korean dining experience, combining traditional flavours with a modern atmosphere and attentive service.

As a new concept and brand, we are looking for passionate team members who want to be part of the opening team and help build JIN GUK from the very beginning.

Key Responsibilities
Oversee and manage overall kitchen operations
Lead and manage Kitchen Staff and Supervisors
Prepare staff rosters and allocate daily tasks
Maintain food quality, consistency and presentation standards
Ensure food safety, hygiene and workplace standards are maintained
Manage stock levels, ordering and food preparation




Monitor and control food and kitchen costs
Improve kitchen efficiency and productivity
Work closely with the FOH team to ensure smooth service
Maintain JIN GUK's food and service standards
Train, develop and support kitchen team members
Establish and improve kitchen systems and procedures during the opening period
