Job Description
Toby started roasting in his Mum's garage in Woolloomooloo nearly 30 years ago, and there's been a change or two along the way. These days, Toby has left the building, but we've welcomed three new cafes to the fold – Newstead in Brisbane, Fitzroy in Melbourne and an outpost in Singapore, and our Chippendale Flagship cafe won best coffee shop in the world in **** (and top 5 in ****). We're exploding on the international scene too – with Japan and New York on the cards, not to mention licensees and roasteries in nine countries, and counting. But the DNA hasn't changed – we are leaders in specialty coffee for a reason.

Holds a genuine love for coffee and the hospitality industry and is eager to share their knowledge and experience.

Is enthusiastic, friendly, and able to build solid relationships.

Demonstrates strong communication skills with staff and guests, remains focused under pressure, and can work effectively at pace when required.

Day to day in this role you will:
n

Work alongside our existing team to ensure that every cup of coffee and plate of food that leaves our hands meets the same high-quality standard.
n
Take orders and operate the POS.
n
Provide an excellent experience to our Toby's customers.
n
n
This is a casual role, estimated to be working 3 days, ***** hours per week at our Fitzroy cafe.
