About the role

Haines Bros Earthmoving is seeking a skilled and reliable Dump Truck Operator to join our team in Shellharbour NSW on a full-time basis. As a Dump Truck Operator, you will be responsible for the protected and effective transportation of materials across various construction and earthmoving sites.

What you'll be doing
Operating dump trucks safely and efficiently to transport materials across construction and earthmoving sites
Conducting pre-operation vehicle inspections and reporting any mechanical issues or defects promptly
Adhering to all traffic regulations and safety protocols whilst operating heavy vehicles
Loading and unloading materials in accordance with weight restrictions and safety guidelines
Maintaining accurate records of fuel consumption, mileage and delivery documentation
Communicating effectively with site supervisors, equipment operators and other team members





What we're looking for
Experience operating dump trucks in construction or earthmoving environments
Knowledge of road safety regulations and site safety protocols relevant to the construction industry
Robust mechanical aptitude and ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance checks
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work independently and follow instructions from site supervisors
