Biota is seeking a Field Logistics Coordinator to support the planning and delivery of field programs across Western Australia. This role focuses on coordinating field survey logistics and assisting with safety matters across the business, working closely with project managers, the Health and Safety Advisor and the Business General Manager to ensure field teams are well prepared, equipment is maintained and mobilisations run smoothly. This is a hands-on Perth-based role, with responsibility for both coordination and practical field preparation.
Key responsibilities
Coordinate travel, accommodation and freight for field programs
Support mobilisation requirements (inductions, site access, travel bookings, satphones and equipment)
Assist project managers with pre-field logistics and planning and de-mobilisation tasks post-field
Manage field equipment, including gear collation and packing, maintaining inventory and storage systems, and coordinating test and tag and basic maintenance
Maintain the company storage facility and equipment systems
Coordinate maintenance and readiness of Biota 4WD vehicles
Coordinate movement of equipment and materials between locations
Provide administrative support for safety requirements (e.g. inductions, certifications, equipment compliance)
Work with Biota's Health and Safety Advisor to ensure field readiness aligns with safety requirements and site readiness needs
Identify and implement practical improvements to streamline logistics and mobilisation

Experience in logistics, operations or a similar coordination role (essential)
Exposure to field-based, project-based, mining or consulting settings (highly desirable)
Experience supporting health & safety processes, inductions or compliance requirements (desirable)
Experience supporting travel, equipment or mobilisation coordination (desirable)
