Maccabi FC Caulfield is seeking an experienced football/soccer leader to oversee our junior program and assist both our players and coaches continue to develop.

This is a hands-on role combining technical leadership with coach recruitment, mentoring and support. Working with the Football/soccer Committee, you’ll establish a consistent methodology to junior football, with player development, enjoyment and wellbeing at its centre.

Key responsibilities

· Assist in the development and implementation of an age-appropriate football curriculum and practical coaching resources.

· Lead coach recruitment and induction, recommending appointments to the Football Committee.

· Mentor coaches through regular training and match observations, constructive feedback and workshops.

· Act as the main contact for junior coaches, helping with session planning, team challenges and day-to-day needs.

· Oversee fair and transparent grading, player assessments and development pathways.

· Ensure coaches meet qualification,



registration and child-safety requirements and follow club policies.

· Report to the Football Committee on progress and recommend improvements to the junior program.

About you

You’ll bring experience in junior football and coach development, robust communication and organisational skills, and the ability to work constructively with coaches, players and parents.

We’re looking for someone with:

· Recognised Football Australia coaching qualifications, preferably a C Diploma or higher, or equivalent experience.

· Experience recruiting, managing or mentoring coaches.

· A sound understanding of age-appropriate player development and Football Victoria competitions.

· A current Working with Children Check and a commitment to child safety.

· Availability to attend training sessions and matches regularly.

Pay: $15,000.00 – $20,000.00 per year
