Distillery Road Market (DRM) is looking for experienced, motivated and energetic Chefs to join our ever-growing team across a variety of onsite venues.
Situated half-way between the Gold Coast and Brisbane, DRM is the region's newest food and entertainment hub, boasting weekend markets, events, functions and live entertainment, trading Thursday - Sunday every week.
DRM is home to Perentie Brewing Co, housing the Perentie Kitchen, Brewery and Beer Garden as well as multiple specialty bars and food venues, including Sugar Creek Smokehouse,Posadas Mexican Kitchen, Wing It, Slice It Pizza, Merica Diner & an in-house Prep Kitchen with more to come, as well as an expansive Outdoor Entertainment space and indoor Market Hall.
About the role:
This new role offers an opportunity for experienced Chefs to take the next step in their career.
At DRM we are passionate about delivering high quality foods across a range of venues, from American barbeque to tapas and msny more.
Key responsibilities:
Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in line with menu and culinary standards
Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen workplace Collaborating with the team to continually develop and refine the menu
Ensure all food is prepared safely and in accordance with food hygiene regulations




Maintain consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control
Assit with Front of House Customer Service when needed
Required skills and experience:
Kitchen experience in a high-volume food, bar, function environment - minimum 2 years
High standard of personal presentation & hygiene
Extensive knowledge of food safety requirements and best practice>i>
Current Food Safety Certificate required at commencement
Flexibility and the ability to adapt to changing environments
