The Lucas Group is recruiting for a Grounds & Maintenance Person to join our client on their large cropping aggregation near Moree, NSW.

The Role
n This is a hands-on position for someone who takes pride in keeping a property safe, tidy and well maintained.
n

Maintaining lawns, gardens and grounds
n
Looking after domestic irrigation, roads, driveways and outdoor areas
n
Inspecting houses, sheds, workshops and farm buildings
n
Completing minor repairs and general handyman work
n
Assisting with fences, yards, water systems and farm infrastructure
n
Coordinating contractors and tradespeople when required
n
Keeping tools, equipment and facilities organised
n
Supporting the farm operations team during busy periods
n
Assisting with machinery operations , grain handling and general farm work
n
Feral animal control as required
n

About You
n You're practical, reliable and comfortable working independently. You notice what needs doing, take pride in your work and aren't afraid to get stuck in.
n
You'll ideally have:
n
n
Experience in farm, grounds, property or facilities maintenance
n
Good gardening and handyman skills
n
Experience with farm machinery and vehicles
n
Basic irrigation and infrastructure knowledge
n
Good problem-solving and organisation skills
n
A strong focus on safety and ChemCERT training
n
A current driver's licence and HR licence
n
n
Cropping or farm experience will be highly regarded.
n
The Package

Salary from $95,000 + super
