Student Pharmacist - Summer Placement ****
Three-Week Student Pharmacist Summer Placement (76 hours per fortnight)
Located in: Frankston, Victoria
Classification: Pharmacy Student (RQ9)* plus super

The Team & Role
The Pharmacy Department's three-week Summer Placement Program provides pharmacy students with structured exposure to hospital pharmacy practice through supervised clinical and operational learning experiences.
Students gain practical experience across clinical wards, Quality Use of Medicines (QUM) activities, and pharmacy operations, applying their academic knowledge in a real-world healthcare environment.




The program offers insight into medication management, medication safety, and multidisciplinary healthcare delivery while supporting the development of professional, clinical and communication skills.
Participants work towards defined learning outcomes and gain a broad understanding of hospital pharmacy services and patient-centred care.

Skills & Experience Required
Enrolled in an accredited Pharmacy degree, preferably in Victoria
Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team
Demonstrated explicit and effective communication
Demonstrated ability to accept and carry out instructions
A keen interest and desire to work in the field of hospital pharmacy
Medicines knowledge aligned with course level (desirable)
