Turner Freeman Lawyers is a national law firm specialising in plaintiff personal injury litigation.

We have an exciting opportunity available in our Canberra office for a part time Paralegal . This role will be supporting the team in the area of Personal Injury with a focus primarily on Institutional Abuse matters.

/n

The ideal candidate will currently be in theirthirdor fourth year of their law degree and ideally have previous experience working as either a legal assistant or paralegal in personal injury. The role will require you to work a minimum of3 to 4 days per week.

/n

Excellent mentoring, training and support is provided, together with the opportunity to progress at the conclusion of your degree.

ABOUT THE JOB /n

Drafting and collating legal documents;

/n
Drafting legal correspondence;





/n
Preparing chronologies and summaries;

/n
Preparation of statements;

/n
Liaising with clients, medical and legal professionals and other government bodies;

/n
File and document management;

/n

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR /n

Youmust be in your third or fourth year of your law degree;

/n
A bright and enthusiastic law student who has a passion for helping people;

/n
Previous experience in personal injury is essential;

/n
Solid written and verbal communication skills;

/n
Excellent attention to detail;

/n
A hard working, focused attitude.
