New Plumbing Solutions is building our team of Water Metering Technicians for our Urban Utility project - and we want to hear from you!
n
What You'll Be Doing - A Day in the Life
n
This is a field-based role:
n
n
Start your day by checking your schedule
n
Head out to site in your fully equipped work vehicle
n
Perform field metering activities including
Installing/replacing
meters,
installing/replacing
data loggers and completing metering investigations
n
Accurately record meter specifications and site data using a mobile app
n
Log each completed job on our mobile app before moving to the next
n
n
Key Responsibilities, include but are not limited to:
n
n
Water Meter replacement & assembly maintenance.
n
Follow correct replacement procedures.
n
Customer Service - face to face and phone
n
Perform tasks within budgets and time frames
n
Communicate regularly with office support team
n
Maintain accurate and timely digital job installation records
n
Ensure that all tasks are performed in a manner consistent with state and company OH&S; policies and procedures.
n
Work independently day to day and to a schedule
n
n
About You
n




We are looking for reliable and dedicated individuals to help us on our ongoing project. The ideal candidate will possess the following:

Strong mechanical aptitude - proficient with hand tools.
n
A positive attitude, strong work ethic with a willingness to learn
n
An aptitude for problem solving
n
Attention to detail - Data Accuracy is a MUST!
n
Reliable, punctual, and capable of meeting deadlines
n
Excellent communication and customer service skills
n
The ability to work under supervision both individually and occasionally in a team setting.
n
Able to do a lot of bending, squatting and walking (moderate degree of physical fitness)
n
Ability to work in most weather conditions.
n
Flexible and comfortable with daily travel
n
A current driver's licence
n
Blue Card & Police Check
n
A red/white card
n
