Ivanhoe Periodontics & Implant Centre is a well-established and growing Specialist Practice located in Heidelberg Victoria.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, friendly and self-motivated Dental Assistant / Receptionist to join our team.
n
Our team consists of three Periodontists, supported by our friendly dental assistants and reception staff and practice manager.
n
We are looking for an all-rounder who is confident working across both dental assisting and reception and is committed to providing exceptional patient care.
n
Your role will include common dental assisting and reception tasks, including:
n
n
Assisting with periodontal procedures, including implant surgery and periodontal surgery
n
Preparation of treatment rooms
n
Maintaining accurate and detailed clinical records
n
Sterilisation and preparation of instruments according to infection control guidelines
n
Providing exceptional patient care
n
Answering phones and assisting with patient enquiries
n
Managing appointments and the practice schedule
n
Processing patient accounts and payments including HICAPS
n
Assisting with the smooth day-to-day running of the practice
n




Other reception and admin duties

About you
n
We are looking for someone who:
n
n
Has a minimum Certificate III in Dental Assisting
n
Has experience in both dental assisting and reception
n
Is confident answering phones and managing appointments
n
Has experience with patient accounts and HICAPS
n
Is organised, reliable and self-motivated
n
Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
n
Is friendly, professional and well-presented
n
Is a adaptable all-rounder who enjoys working as part of a team
n
Takes pride in providing a high standard of patient care
n
n
The position offers ******* hours per week, across 2–3 days per week. You may also be eligible for our retention bonus payment.
n
No weekend work and no late nights.
n
Remuneration will be based on qualifications and experience.
n
