We are looking for a friendly, reliable and experienced
Casual Gaming Attendant
to join the team at the
Pastoral Hotel in Port Augusta
.
The Role n
You will help create a welcoming, enjoyable and responsible gaming experience for our guests while supporting the broader hotel team.
n
Your responsibilities will include:
n
n
Providing friendly and attentive service within the gaming room;
n
Assisting guests with gaming machines and loyalty programs;
n
Processing payouts and completing cash-handling duties accurately;
n
Monitoring the gaming room and maintaining responsible gambling practices;
n
Ensuring all legislative, compliance and venue procedures are followed;
n
Maintaining a clean, comfortable and well-presented gaming environment;
n
Restocking refreshments and completing general gaming-room duties;
n
Supporting bar and hotel operations when required; and
n
Creating a positive and welcoming experience for every guest.
n
About You n
To succeed in this role, you will have:
n
n
Current RSA and relevant South Australian gaming qualifications;
n
Previous gaming experience, preferably within a hotel workplace;
n
GFR Pro experience highly regarded;
n




RP Badge advantageous;
n
Strong customer-service and communication skills;
n
Confidence handling cash and completing gaming transactions;
n
A sound understanding of responsible gambling requirements;
n
The ability to work independently and as part of a team;
n
A positive, professional and practical approach; and
n
Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
