The Opportunity

As an HR Advisor at MyHR, you'll be the go-to expert when workplace issues arise. You'll provide clear, commercially sound and compliant advice across a wide range of employment relations matters, helping our clients navigate challenges with confidence.

This role is focused on resolving reactive employment matters efficiently and accurately. You'll manage ER cases end-to-end, ensuring our clients understand their risks, options, and obligations every step of the way.

Key Responsibilities
n
Employment Relations Advisory
n
Respond promptly to customer employment relations queries, providing clear, practical written and verbal guidance
n




Advise clients on Award coverage, classifications, minimum entitlements and compliance obligations under the Fair Work Act
n
Manage end-to-end ER processes including:
n
Misconduct and serious misconduct
n
Poor performance and performance improvement processes
n
Disciplinary processes and dismissals
n
Restructures, redeployment and redundancy
n
Probationary periods, medical incapacity and other termination scenarios
n
Changes to employment terms and associated risk considerations
n
Draft high-quality documentation including employment contracts, letters, warnings, and termination documentation
n
Clearly outline risks, options, and recommended approaches to ensure informed decision-making
n
Maintain accurate and detailed case notes within MyHR systems
n
Client Support & Software Adoption
n
Champion the effective use of MyHR software, including performance reviews, documentation tools, notes, and automation features
n
Guide customers on best-practice performance management and onboarding processes
n
Ensure every client interaction is clear, practical, and aligned with MyHR values
n




Handle customer concerns professionally and proactively resolve issues where possible
n
Compliance & Continuous Improvement
n
Stay up to date with employment law, case law, and emerging risks
n
Follow the MyHR way and internal processes to ensure consistency and quality
n
Contribute to continuous improvement of ER templates, workflows, and systems
n
What You Bring
n
3+ years experience in employment relations, HR or a similar role
n
Strong working knowledge of employment law and ER processes
n
Experience managing disciplinary, performance, investigation and termination processes
n
Exceptional written communication skills and high attention to detail
n
Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously in a quick-paced environment
n
Confidence coaching managers through sensitive or high-risk matters
n
Strong systems capability and comfort working across multiple platforms
n
A practical, commercially minded approach to employment law
