Babinda Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to join its Emergency Department on a four-week contract from 28 September to 25 October ****.
Based in Babinda, Queensland, this role offers the chance to work in a dynamic ED environment, with the flexibility of occasional ward shifts as required.

Four-week contract in a busy Emergency Department with exposure to triage, resuscitation, and acute patient care
Mostly ED shifts with occasional ward support, offering variety and flexibility
Regional Queensland location with the opportunity to make an immediate clinical impact
Preferred RequirementsCurrent Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification




Demonstrated experience in emergency department triage and patient assessment
Proficiency with resuscitation protocols and emergency response procedures
Competence with electronic medical records (ieMR) systems
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to shifting clinical demands
Preferred QualificationsCurrent AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
Post-graduate qualification or demonstrated experience in Emergency Nursing
Additional certifications in trauma or critical care nursing are advantageous
