Job Description
We are seeking a Material Delivery Driver to join the team at Lovett Construction Group Pty Ltd.
This is a full-time position based in Valley Heights, NSW ****.
In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of materials to construction sites and customer locations.
What you'll be doing
Operating and maintaining delivery vehicles in protected, roadworthy condition
Transporting construction materials and supplies to designated sites and locations in a timely manner
Loading and unloading materials safely, following proper handling procedures and weight distribution guidelines
Inspecting vehicles before and after each delivery to identify any maintenance issues or damage
Maintaining accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption and vehicle maintenance
Communicating effectively with site managers,



customers and the dispatch team regarding delivery times and any issues
Complying with all traffic laws, road safety regulations and company safety policies
Securing loads properly to prevent spillage or damage during transport
Supporting the warehouse team with additional tasks when required
What we're looking for
Current HR or MR driver's licence, or equivalent
Experience as a delivery driver or in a similar transport role within the construction, warehousing or logistics industry
Physical fitness and capability to safely load and unload materials
Knowledge of construction materials and site requirements (desirable)
