Reporting to the Mechanical Engineering Manager, you will be working in a highly experienced team supporting a variety of critical mineral projects.
The role is offered on afull-time permanentbasis at our Perth office.
As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you'll be responsible for delivering practical, safe and efficient mechanical engineering solutions from concept through detailed design and commissioning.
You'll collaborate closely with project teams, clients and stakeholders while contributing to high-quality project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the detailed design of mechanical systems including conveyors, crushers, mills, pumps and material handling systems
Develop engineering drawings, specifications and calculations, ensuring accuracy, compliance and quality
Perform mechanical analysis using engineering software to optimise safety, reliability and cost effectiveness
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate mechanical design into overall project delivery
Engage with stakeholders to define requirements and present fit-for-purpose solutions
Review vendor documentation and support procurement, bid evaluations and vendor selection
Ensure compliance with Australian standards and relevant industry codes




Identify and manage technical risks and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Provide site support across construction, commissioning and operations as required
About you
Degree in Mechanical Engineering (accredited by Engineers Australia or equivalent)
10+ years of experience in mineral processing or mining projects (design & construct environment)
Solid knowledge of Australian standards and industry codes
Proven ability to deliver against schedule, budget and quality targets
Working rights in Australia
Experience with base metals and/or rare earth minerals
Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams
