About the Role
Our client is seeking an innovative Project Manager to lead projects in Agricultural Technology , working entirely remotely from Paarl, Western Cape .
You will be instrumental in developing and implementing cutting-edge solutions that enhance farming practices, improve crop yields, and promote sustainability within the agricultural sector.
This role requires a blend of technical understanding, project management expertise, and a passion for leveraging technology to solve real-world agricultural challenges.
You will collaborate with agronomists, engineers, and technology providers to drive impactful projects forward.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of AgriTech projects , from concept to deployment.
Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.
Manage project timelines, budgets, resources, and risks effectively, ensuring project goals are met.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including R&D;, engineering, and operations, to ensure seamless project progression.
Oversee the implementation and integration of new agricultural technologies and systems.




Stay abreast of industry trends and innovations in agricultural technology to identify new project opportunities.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; a Master's degree is advantageous.
Minimum 5 years of experience in project management , preferably within the agricultural technology or related sectors.
Proven ability to manage complex projects involving technology implementation and process improvement.
Strong understanding of agricultural practices and the application of technology in farming.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, adapted for remote work.
Experience with project management software and collaboration tools.
