Are you an experienced Technician looking for a role where you can work independently, be home each night and still have the backing of a national organisation? Toyota Material Handling Australia (TMHA) is looking for a Field Service Technician to join our team, working in and around the Hunter region reporting into our Newcastle Branch.
n
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys being out on the road, working directly with customers and having the freedom to manage their own day.

What will you be doing?
n
Responsibilities
n
As a Field Service Technician, you'll be responsible for keeping our customers' equipment operating safely and efficiently. Your day will involve travelling to customer sites throughout the Newcastle and surrounding areas to:
n

Carry out scheduled servicing, maintenance and repairs on material handling equipment
n
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults
n
Attend breakdowns and respond to customer service requirements
n
Complete preventative maintenance and safety inspections
n
Maintain accurate service records and job documentation
n
Build strong relationships with customers and provide professional technical support
n
Work closely with the Newcastle Branch and our wider service network
n
Manage your daily schedule while working autonomously in the field
n

What are we looking for?
n
We're looking for a technician who is practical, customer-focused and enjoys solving problems.
n
You'll Ideally Have
n
n
A relevant mechanical trade qualification - Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology, Heavy Vehicle, Automotive or equivalent
n
Experience working on mobile plant, forklifts, heavy vehicles, agricultural machinery or similar equipment
n
Strong mechanical, electrical and hydraulic diagnostic skills
n
The ability to work independently and manage your own workload
n
Valuable communication and customer service skills
n
A current driver's licence
n
A strong commitment to safety and quality
n
n
Forklift experience is highly regarded, but not essential.
n
