Safety Advisor
to join our

full‐time permanent basis.

Responsibilities
As a Safety Advisor, your responsibilities will include:
Providing proactive health and safety support across construction projects throughout Toowoomba
Travelling between project sites to conduct site inspections, audits and safety observations
Assisting project teams with risk assessments, Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS), incident investigations and corrective actions
Supporting the implementation and continuous improvement of Hutchies' Health, Safety and Environmental Management Systems
Monitoring site safety performance and identifying opportunities to improve safety outcomes
Delivering safety guidance, coaching and education to employees, subcontractors and stakeholders
Promoting a positive safety culture through effective communication and engagement with site teams
Assisting with injury management and return‐to‐work processes where required
Maintaining accurate safety records, reports and compliance documentation
Building strong working relationships with site teams and stakeholders across multiple projects
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have:




Relevant tertiary qualifications in the respective field for this role
5+ years' experience in a similar role
A current driver's license and the ability to travel regularly between project sites
Strong knowledge of workplace health and safety legislation, standards and best practices
Proficient in Microsoft Office and safety management systems
Ability to work in a team environment and have initiative when working independently
Solid relationship building with all relevant stakeholders
A down to earth, fun, friendly and professional approach to your work
