Key Responsibilities /n

Welcome patients and manage phone, email and in-person enquiries.

/n
Coordinate appointments, patient check-in/check-out and daily reception flow.

/n
Process billing, payments, receipts and patient account information accurately.

/n
Maintain patient records, correspondence, scanning and filing in line with privacy requirements.

/n
Support a clean, safe and well-organised reception workplace.

/n
Work collaboratively with doctors, management and the wider team.

/n

About You /n

You will be patient-focused, reliable and calm under pressure,



with strong attention to detail and a professional approach to confidentiality.

Skills and Experience /n

/n
Previous medical reception, healthcare administration or customer service experience preferred.

/n
Strong communication, organisation and attention to detail.

/n
Confidence using computer systems, practice software and Microsoft Office.

/n
Ability to prioritise tasks and remain calm in a busy setting.

/n
Billing, receipting, Medicare, DVA or private billing experience would be advantageous.

/n
Previous experience with Genie practice management software would be beneficial.
