Local Workforce Hire is currently representing a client looking for experienced road crew workers for a
3-month contract
in the Cairns region.

$38 per hour + superannuation

Small road crew

About the Role n
You'll be working as part of a small road crew team, assisting with a range of manual labouring tasks, including:
n
n
Laying pipes
n
Building headwalls
n
Pothole patching
n
Digging and concreting
n
General road maintenance and labouring duties
n
n
This role involves physical manual work,



so you'll need to be physically fit and comfortable working outdoors.
About You n
To be successful in this role, you will have:
n
n
Previous experience working as part of a road crew or in a similar roadworks role
n
Experience with physical manual labour, including digging and concreting
n
Manual C Class driver's licence
(MR licence would be an advantage)
n
Full working rights in Australia
n
Reliable transport and the ability to travel to and from the client's local depot
n
A positive attitude towards workplace health and safety
n
A robust work ethic and willingness to work as part of a team
n
