A leading global logistics and supply chain provider is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth across its international freight forwarding business.

This opportunity can be based from Melbourne western suburbs or Sydney eastern suburbs.

Focusing on Air and Ocean Freight services, you'll identify and secure current business opportunities while helping customers optimise their international supply chain operations through tailored logistics solutions.

This is a highly autonomous, customer-facing position suited to a commercially driven sales professional who enjoys building relationships, developing solutions and winning new business. You'll help customers solve logistics challenges while delivering sustainable revenue growth across a diverse range of industries.

The opportunity offers a combination of strategic business development and hands-on sales activity, with a strong focus on expanding market share, building long-term customer partnerships and contributing to the continued success of a well-established global freight forwarding organisation.
What you'll be doing? n
This is a true business development role focused on proactively generating opportunities, winning new customers and growing market share across Air and Ocean Freight services.

Actively prospect, network and build relationships to generate new business opportunities
n
Engage with decision-makers to uncover challenges and identify opportunities to add value
n




Develop tailored solutions that meet customer needs and support business growth
n
Prepare and present compelling commercial proposals, pricing, and service offerings
n
Take ownership of the full sales cycle, from initial outreach through to negotiation, conversion and onboarding
n
Consistently build and maintain a healthy pipeline through your own business development activity
n
Deliver revenue growth through a mix of small, medium and large customer wins, recognising that every opportunity counts.

Proven business development experience within the freight forwarding industry, with a strong ability to build trusted customer relationships
