Salary Range $92,****** - $96,****** per annum pro rata(depending on qualifications and experience)

About the Role
n
As part of our Strategic Planning and Sustainability team,you'll provide support across the City's strategic planning,heritage and environmental sustainability functions whiledeveloping practical professional capability by:
n
n
Assisting with research, preparation, review andimplementation of the City's sustainability
framework,initiatives
and projects.
n




Collecting, maintaining and analysing sustainability datato support monitoring, performance reporting and
continuousimprovement.
n
Supporting the preparation of sustainability
updates,dashboards,
grant information and applications,
educationalresources,
briefing material and reports.
n
Assisting with and leading the routine reviews of localplanning policies and other strategic planning initiativesunder guidance.
n
Undertaking research, data collection, analysis andbenchmarking to support evidence-based policy developmentaligned with best-practice.
n
Providing project and administrative support for planningscheme, heritage, and local planning policy reviews andstrategic planning processes as required.
n

Who We're Looking For
n
You'll thrive in this role if you have:
n
n
Demonstrated experience working collaboratively to completetasks or projects and achieve agreed outcomes.
n
Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills,including the ability to prepare correspondence, reports,briefing material and presentations in plain English.
n
Foundational understanding of strategic
planning,sustainability,
project management and policy
developmentprinciples.
n
Currently completing the final year of, or recentlycompleted, a tertiary qualification in urban and regionalplanning, environmental science, environmental
management,sustainability,
sustainable development or a relateddiscipline.
n
