Job Summary:

B & J Singh Pty Ltd is a banana farm situated in Bombeeta in Far North Queensland. We are seeking motivated, reliable, active and hardworking individuals to join our team as Banana Farm Workers. This is an exciting opportunity to work in Australia's vibrant agricultural sector.

Key Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain farm equipment, such as tractors and harvesters
Assist with stringing, deleafing, irrigation, desuckering, bagging and bell injecting
Stacking and dehanding
Sort and grade bananas for packaging and distribution
Pack and label fruits for shipment
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Follow all safety protocols and regulations
Communicate any issues or concerns to the farm supervisor
Assist with other farm duties as needed

Requirements:
At least 12 months of previous experience working on an agriculture farm or Certificate I in Horticulture




Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and lift up to 50lbs
Knowledge of farm machinery and equipment
Basic understanding of crop and livestock care
Strong work ethic and ability to work independently and in a team
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Perks:
Competitive salary from $70,000 to $80,000 plus superannuation based on experience.
