Casual Chef Port Broughton Hotel /n

We are looking for a passionate and reliable Casual Chef to join the kitchen team at the Port Broughton Hotel .

The Role

/n

Working closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team, you will support food preparation and service in a busy pub environment.

/n

Your responsibilities will include:

/n

/n
Preparing and cooking meals to a consistently high standard;

/n
Supporting lunch, dinner, functions and busy service periods;

/n
Following recipes, portion control and presentation standards;

/n
Maintaining a clean, organised and safe kitchen;

/n
Assisting with stock rotation, preparation lists and minimising food waste;

/n
Working collaboratively with the kitchen and front-of-house teams; and

/n
Bringing a positive, practical and hands-on approach to every shift.

About You

/n

To succeed in this role, you will have:

/n

/n
Previous experience as a Chef or Cook in a pub, restaurant or fast-paced kitchen;

/n




A passion for quality food and great hospitality;

/n
Robust communication, organisation and time-management skills;

/n
The ability to remain calm and focused during busy service;

/n
Sound knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene;

/n
Flexibility to work across a seven-day roster, including nights and weekends; and

/n
A reliable work ethic and a positive attitude towards teamwork.
