Casual Medical Receptionist for Neurosurgical Practice /n

We are a busy, well established specialist medical practice providing high quality patient care in a professional and supportive environment.

/n

We are seeking an experienced medical receptionist to join our neurosurgical practice in Newcastle working up to 4 days per week (Mon-Thur). We seek someone who enjoys patient interaction, has robust attention to detail, is professional and reliable.

/n

Required skills and qualities:

/n

Specialist medical reception experience or similar

/n

Attention to detail and good computer skills

/n

Experience with Genie Solutions or similar medical practice software

/n

A friendly and qualified manner when engaging with patients and other medical specialists

/n





Ability to prioritise and multi-task

/n

Willingness to learn and be part of a small team

/n

Australian permanent residency is required for this position

/n

Duties:

/n

Day to day operations of the practice including answering phone calls and emails

/n

Scheduling patient appointments and operations

/n

Greeting patients in a friendly manner

/n

Managing referrals and patient records

/n

Patient invoicing including Medicare, Veterans' Affairs, Workers Comp and Third Party

/n

Supporting our team in delivering high quality care
