We are seeking an experienced and reliable Motor Mechanic to join our team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing, diagnosing, repairing and maintaining a range of motor vehicles while ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

Inspect, diagnose and repair mechanical faults in motor vehicles.
Perform routine servicing and preventative maintenance.
Carry out engine, transmission, brake, suspension and steering repairs.
Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults using appropriate diagnostic equipment.
Replace and repair worn or damaged mechanical components.
Conduct vehicle inspections and identify required repairs.
Test vehicles after repairs to ensure they are operating safely and correctly.
Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs and servicing.
Follow workplace health and safety procedures and manufacturer specifications.
Maintain a clean, secure and organised workshop.
Work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
Skills and Experience

Relevant experience of 1 year as a Motor Mechanic.




Strong knowledge of vehicle mechanical systems and components.
Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical faults accurately.
Experience using vehicle diagnostic tools and workshop equipment.
Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Solid commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship.
Qualifications

A relevant automotive qualification such as Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent is desirable.
