Parc Pavilion is an 800-seat venue in the heart of Cronulla. This expansive venue, spanning two floors, offers a diverse range of dining experiences, including a ground-floor bistro and café, takeaway offer, a first-floor bistro and cocktail bar, an Italian restaurant, and private dining areas, all serviced by two state-of-the-art kitchens.

What is the role? /n

/n
As a Chef or Cook you will work with the Head Chef to deliver exceptional food to our customers.

/n
Being responsible for daily food preparation and service.

/n
Maintaining expected quality of food.

/n
Monitoring food safety requirements.

/n
Day to day operation of a busy section.

/n
Ensure efficiency, quality and time management.

/n
Valuable communication and interpersonal skills.

/n
Liaising with the senior chefs in the smooth running of the kitchen.

/n




Provide training to new kitchen team members.

/n
Positive knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) and HACCP.

/n

What is needed to be successful in this role? /n

/n
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a professional environment

/n
Completed trade qualifications to a minimum Certificate III

/n
Able to work a rotating roster across Monday to Sunday including weekends, nights and public holidays

/n
Ability to manage own sections and deliver a consistently high standard of food throughout service Food hygiene compliance, knowledge and practices

/n
Flexible and willing attitude, clear communication and customer service skills

/n
Immaculate grooming and pride in presentation

/n
