Our client, NORWEST, is a growing Civil Construction & Logistics Company based in the Karratha and Wickham area of Western Australia. They are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Stationary Plant Operator to join their growing team.

About the Role
As a Stationary Plant Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation, monitoring and routine maintenance of stationary plant and equipment used across civil construction and logistics operations.

Key responsibilities include:
Operate stationary plant and equipment safely and efficiently
Monitor plant and equipment during operation to ensure safe and effective performance
Conduct pre-start inspections and routine operational checks
Set up and prepare plant and equipment for operation
Operate plant in accordance with operating procedures and site requirements
Monitor equipment performance and identify potential faults or operational issues
Report equipment faults, defects and maintenance requirements promptly




Perform basic operational maintenance and routine checks as required
Assist with the shutdown, cleaning and securing of plant and equipment
Complete operational records, checklists and other required documentation accurately
Follow workplace health and safety procedures and site requirements
Maintain plant, equipment and work areas in a safe and orderly condition
Liaise professionally with supervisors, operators and other team members
Assist with general civil construction and logistics activities as required
Work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Perform overtime when required to meet operational requirements

Skills and Experience
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Relevant plant operation tickets, licences and/or nationally recognised competencies
Previous experience operating stationary plant and equipment
Experience in civil construction, logistics, quarrying, earthworks or a related industry is desirable
Solid understanding of safe plant operation and workplace health and safety requirements
